Morning Brief – 7:00 AM
The day begins early at our Colorado Springs headquarters. The crisp mountain air greets me as I arrive to check the day’s service schedule and load up my truck with essential parts and tools. Winter in Colorado means our phones are constantly ringing with heating emergencies.
First Call – 8:30 AM
My first stop takes me to a home near Manitou Springs where the homeowner reported no heat. After a thorough inspection, I discover their furnace has a failing ignitor – a common issue during our cold seasons. Within an hour, I’m able to replace the part and restore warmth to their home.
Mid-Morning Emergency – 10:15 AM
Between scheduled appointments, dispatch radios in about a urgent plumbing situation. A broken water line requires immediate attention. This is why we always keep essential repair materials on hand. These unexpected calls remind me why proper maintenance is so crucial.
Afternoon Tasks
The rest of my day includes:
– Performing a routine furnace maintenance
– Installing a new water heater for a growing family
– Conducting a heating system evaluation for an older home
– Addressing a minor plumbing repair
End of Day – 5:00 PM
As the sun sets over Pikes Peak, I complete my final service call of the day. There’s satisfaction in knowing each home I visited is now warmer and more comfortable. Before heading home, I restock my truck and prepare for tomorrow’s challenges.
Every day brings different challenges in the HVAC and plumbing industry, but serving our Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs communities makes it all worthwhile. Whether it’s a simple repair or a complex installation, ensuring our neighbors’ comfort remains our top priority.
